+As a 501 (c) 3 non-profit charity, more than a third of WACAP's operating budget is funded by charitable contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations. When approaching corporations for funding or sponsorship, it is helpful to know if any WACAP constituents are connected with these corporations and/or how many WACAP parents work for the corporations. (For example, a grant application to the Boeing Company may include a statistic of how many WACAP adoptive parents work for Boeing.) Please know that your employer information will be kept confidential.
